Sound issue
I uploaded a video showing the problem here. Basically the opening video sounds just fine...no issues. Then when I go to the actual title screen, the pendulum is super loud, the beeping is super loud when selecting. When I go into the game itself proper, the BGM even when turned down to 10 percent it is super stutterly and loud. I'm looking for a fix to that problem.

Thanks!

First thing I'd try is verify game files and/or reinstalling.

I also wonder if it could be a driver issue? Maybe check for update to your soundcard?

And sorry because that is unplayable, but Crono's town theme sort of sounded like an electric guitar version with heavy distortion. lol! I kind of liked it

How do you verify game files? I reinstalled today and that didnt do anything. I'll look into the driver thing.

RIght click on the game title in your Library window, go to properties, click the local files tab, click verify integrity of game files.

What if you right click your volume icon in windows, click recording devices, are there any devices in the window that might be looping your audio? (disable anything that looks fishy and try?)

If there is nothing there to help, the last thing I can think to try is downloading the latest audio drivers (do you have realtek audio?)

That was the first thing I tried before posting here the first time and recording the video which is available..:(

Ok one last idea.... Open Device Manager, expand the Sound, video and game controllers tab. Do you have AMD High Definition Audio Device and Realtek High Definition Audio?

If yes, then right click AMD and disable.

Seems it ended up being a weird hardware issue. Thanks!

How did you fix the sound issue? I still have the problem.

Hey, you can try it. close" virtual surround" and do not use Quadraphonic. use Stereo.

You can fix by either updating your sound driver or going back previous driver update. Those 2 options or both under the same window when you go on device manager under control panel.Once you get on the device manager look for your sound section and select it.You will get q window with tabs on top select the tab (I forgot the name of the tab)that offers a driver update and update it (not manually) or instead of updating your driver, just go back to your previous old version.

Look up what I wrote and see if it works.

To anyone still wondering this--I found that if I plugged in my PS4 controller the sound stopped, and it was because the sound was redirected to the controller. So I hooked up my headphones to the controller and I could hear everything fine.
