Steam version or Apple TV version?
I had this game on my next-to-play list for so long that I just want to play it to see what's all the hype surrounding it.

The thing is, I've read reviews about the poor pc port (that's basically an IOS game). So I'm wondering, has anyone played the steam version and AppleTV version, and recommend which of the 2 to purchase and play? Iphone version is out because I prefer a bigger screen experience.

I have a Xbox One controller that I'd like to use. Price is not an issue.

Well, the Steam version is the worst release of the game, and is frankly a bastardization of the game. So, I wouldn't play it on Steam. If the Apple TV version is the same one as the Steam version, then I wouldn't play that version, either.

I'd play the SNES version, which is the best version of the game. Some people like the NDS version, too. But each newer release of CT has been worse than the previous one. And the PC version of CT isn't just a poor port, it's a mangled and ruined version of the game. And SE just abandoned it after some patches that didn't address the bigger issues with the PC release.

I think the game also looks awful with the screen filtering turned-off - it just looks a different kind of awful. Some quality filter options (like a simple bilinear filter) would have been a good idea, but there are none in this release.
