I'd play the SNES version, which is the best version of the game. Some people like the NDS version, too. But each newer release of CT has been worse than the previous one. And the PC version of CT isn't just a poor port, it's a mangled and ruined version of the game. And SE just abandoned it after some patches that didn't address the bigger issues with the PC release.
I think the game also looks awful with the screen filtering turned-off - it just looks a different kind of awful. Some quality filter options (like a simple bilinear filter) would have been a good idea, but there are none in this release.
