Game Crashes when streaming it on discord screen share

I tried to stream CT on discord to some friends when it crashed all of a sudden. This doesn't just happen to me but my friends as well.

It's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ menu, as soon you open the menu it crashes.

It doesn't crash for me but the stream is just blackness. Noone can help with this?

The same happens to me, only when streaming with discord, while pressing resume game, or load, or save, the game just crashed like pressing Alt F4 :(

Yeah this was happening to a friend trying to stream it. We just ended up using Skype instead, which worked. Not really sure why it doesn’t work on Discord.

The PS1 cutscenes also only appear as a black screen on the screen share. My only guess is that it has something to do with the frame rate of those animations?

It's not some kind of weird copyright protection, is it? This is the bane of trying to play retro computer games on modern hardware that required you to input something from out of the instruction manual; if you didn't have the instruction manual or CD key then you were SOL.
