Report a translation problem
If you have one from your video card, disable it. For example mine shows "AMD High Definition Audio Device" as well as "Realtek High Definition Audio". I have the AMD one disabled.
If that doesn't help, do you have anything extra plugged in to your computer that you can unplug and try again? Plugged in via USB or some other type of port.
I have a desktop over a Steam Link. There is literally nothing plugged in to the desktop besides power and the network cable. There isn't even a screen on the computer directly. Absolutely nothing. I've tried disabling everything in the device manager besides the "Steam streaming speakers"

And yet the problem persists. The first piece music in the beginning is actually fine, but then then when the pendulum starts to swing the noise becomes unbearable and distorted.
Maybe someone who is familiar with Steam Link can chime in.
Does anyone else here play over Steam Link?
I've basically given up and accepted the fact that I've paid good money for nothing.
Update: It's only the in game settings. Clearly a dev issue
