Derelict Factory Final Input Code Problems

I'm trying to input the final code XABY in the terminal before the boss fight in the factory and I can't get it to enter correctly. I've tried on my Xbox controller and with the keyboard and it wont work. Am I doing something wrong or is there a configuration that would make it work. Thanks for any help that you can give me!
