I´m about to give up on this ♥♥♥♥ game. The golem sister- I get wiped before I get time to even react.
Had not lost a single fight yet, now I get teamwiped non stop before I get to react.
Im glad this game never came to Europe, "masterpiece" ? right. nice balancing and "strategy"

Hey it's Ramza Jan 19, 2019 @ 3:53pm
um, i think thats a scripted loss fight.
nah, its the other fight- just finished it. you face 2 golems- took me 20 times.
the 20th time I managed to get off some ice magic so frog and marle hardly took much dmg when they counter with ice.
"nice RNG" 20 times to just get in 1 ice spell before they wiped me...

I would use focus on one golem instead of both, that way you can focus on physical damage while using water spells from one golem while you heal your party, have one person healing every turn, and never let the golems counter on your physical attacks, they hit hard.

I think when I reached them I had pretty strong magic since I mostly used two or three characters and had to start again so I knew a bit what I was doing already.

For a while I thought it was a bit to easy, but here and there I get some enemies now, where I start to think I'm not supposed to be there.

I think I used Luccas, Ayla and Chrono there. I hope that's not a spoiler, but I think you already have all of them when you reach that part of the game.

there'a a strategy to it, quickly start the battle without using physical attack and use any elemental damage on both of them. The remainder of the battle should be alot easier. and yes be fast, if ur too slow, the golems will wipe out your team quickly with physical attacks. if u aren't quick fingers then set battle speed to slower so you have more time to respond

thats how I beat it, but took me 20 times before I could get the time in- maybe its because I had active as battle preference.

If you stick with the game, the only other pace stopper IMO is Giga Gaia. Honestly the Golem sisters never gave me an issue, this run included where I've practically forgotten their weaknesses. Giga Gaia gets me everytime. I recommend going through on Wait the first time through. Every playthrough after crank it to active to get some push back. The game is totally worth it IMO, and I'm someone who hated Mario Galaxy and RE4. (So I don't follow highly regarded games just because everyone else is)

Hypnowave works on them, and almost everything in the game now.

I found I got killed the first time I fought them, which isnt surprising because I remember hating them when I was a kid. If you set your equipment right it isnt difficult. You need to use magic on them that you are resistant to and never physically attack.

In this regard Chrono is there to only be used for combo attacks (Ice sword etc). You focus on one at a time and ensure you have one character (Frog is good) for dedicated heals

I don't remember ever being "wiped before I can react" even once in this game other then the first fight with Lavos where you supposed to lose. I've probably played and finished this game as new game without plus about 8 times or more since childhood. On the SNES I even tried beating a new game with Active instead of Wait and still had never experienced a wiped before I could react.

As long as you can react, you can heal up and concentrate on 1. Most their damage comes from counter attack so you should have plenty of time to heal. Just heal up before attacking and should be cake.

It's good and all to ask for tips on here but your

sound very distasteful and disrespectful to the game and developers. Especially the game was called masterpiece time and time again not by the developers themselves but the players.

you can actually defeat the first golem aswell. heck you can even defeat ocean palace lavos if you are strong enough.
