Its possible to do the same thing with Xenogears?

I don't know exactly how the copyright things are now, but since Chrono is here, i would love to have a steam port of Xenogears, if Square don't have the rights, please sorry, ignore the post, i though about this becouse i saw the Xenogears appearing in Final Fantasy World.

It would be too much efforts. Imagine, Xenogears doesn't have a mobile port so they would have to bring the PS1 version to PC, make it as terrible as possible THEN release it at a lame price.

SE would never be able to do the work that SSoft on it and fans would love to see Disc 2 being properly worked on instead of the rushing that we've seen. I have a feeling Enix can't do this.

So yeah, sorry to say but I wouldn't count on it too much. I believe this will never ever happen.

You can purchase it on PSN for the PSP, Vita, and Playstation so as far as copyright goes if you buy the digital version their it is possible to port it to PC. Will they? Who knows....

Bah Xenogears... It's not porting it that is the problem, it's the embarassing ending screen implying multiple episodes when there just wasn't any....

I'd still buy it tho...

The Lore of Xenogears turns around LOT of story. It's like XG is just a middle one picked at random. In a way, the story makes lot of sense if we follow the lore of other stories but it would have been better if it was a whole game series. I'd have enjoyed to play it from start to end. :3

I would go crazy if xenogears would be released on steam. That is like my best ps1 rpg ever. But I dont think it will happen :( Im not sure but I thinkk all old SE rpg on steam had a mobile port before. (exept ff7-ff8 which had a pc port already).

Umm..... This is where XenoSaga comes into play actually. While not directly a sequel due to the BS that went on, it is HEAVILY implied that they are connected.

Episode 4 should have been about the planet that Abel (Lacan/Fei) came from. Xenosaga are the prequel episodes we didnt see in Gears. (At least it was supposed to be)

Just because they both have the golden Monoliths and Xeno does not connect them. It is explicitly said they are not the same series.
