Mystic Mountains Bug. No Ayla?

So I went to the Mystic Mountains and Ayla never appeared. Also, NO reptites or cutscene. Went to the Iola village and no chief. Finally made it to the top of a mountain north of the village and nothing there either. I beat a blue monster after it rained in the Hunting Grounds. Did I miss something somewhere. I wish I had some kind of quest log. I played this SO long ago on SNES.

You have to do the Frog story first in 600AD. After that, when you repair the legendary sword for Frog, then you need to go to 65.000.000.
And btw. you can always ask the guy in the chamber of time what to do

How do you ask him? I try talking to him and his bubble pops. He says you can always come to me and then nothing follows. I was kinda wondering when I'd see Frog again. Last I heard he swam to the other side of the bridge. I know I remember getting Frog before Ayla.

Figured it out. Had to talk to the cook in the castle to get the jerky for the troops. I'm on my way to deliver Masamune to Frog. Thanks! I jumped the gun going back Mystic Mountain.

Hi guys, I join this old discussion because I experience the exact same issue and I wanted to know how to get back to the End of time when you are dropped to the Mystic Mountains ?
I hope someone can help me : ) Thanks !

On the screen you land when first arriving to prehistory, walk to the upper left corner; you should see the cliff you fell from, stand at the edge above the portal then press down, a message asking you to Jump Down should pop now, say Yes and you should be back at End of Time; just talk to the Cook at Guardia Castle on Middle Ages like the above answers say (and i suggest to make a new thread instead of necroing older ones)

If you get stumped a lot, there's plenty of walk-throughs for the mobile and SNES versions of the game out there, it can give you a quicker answer than here can.
