Keyboard control issue

On the menus and ingame, the cursor and the character are constantly moving up. After mashing the arrow keys to counteract the constant upward movement, I rebound my keys to no avail.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and have a fix?

I have the same problem. To my knowledge, there is no fix announced. (They say you should unplug your controller, but I don't have one plugged in at all, so that's pretty useless advice.)

Just fired up the game on both my computer and my dads computer and we noticed this issue as well. At first i thought it was cause of the controller but i have literally never had an issue with the controller in anything but it's only happening in this game. I even noticed after a few tries of tinkering it would just lock up the game and i would have to alt f4 it out cause i could not move anything except the mouse but could not click on anything or even use the keyboard controls....

After having this same problem I ended up emulating an xbox controller using vjoy/ucr and then changed controller settings in steam. It sucks giving up the keys for controller buttons because I can't do other stuff alt-tabbed but its the 1st work-around i've arrived at that lets me play.

Does anyone know of another method to fix this error? It is that this solution is very uncomfortable for me. I need help
