Red vest VS plate
I'm in 1000ad, have Marle in the party, just finished the second trial, and I opened the sealed chest, and got the red VEST.... why? Shouldn't it be the plate?

It's only the plate if you interacted with the 600AD version of that same sealed chest first, if you're referring to the black ones, as the magic from the pendant allows it to upgrade over the years.

Oh I'm confused then. So I have to actually open it in 600ad, then open it again in 1000ad? I thought opening it in 600ad made it unnavailble later.

Go to the chest in 60o ad, when it gives you the option to it say no. Go to 1000 ad open it, then go back to 600 ad open it. Doing this gives you the plate in 1000 ad and vest in 600 ad.

Ahhhh okay, in all my years playing this game I never understood that, haha, thanks!

Yeah, the thing is that it has a time logic in mind. If you open it in the past, it will be open in the future but if you open it in the future, it will be closed in the past still since the future does not overwrite the past. If you think too hard about it, it can sound complicated but it's really simple.

They should´ve made it, that when you open the one in the past, after opening the one in the future, the loot of the future one should disappear.
