Yeah, it's not a remix or anything, it's just (part of) the original game music. The medley is just the epilogue music, wind scene, magus theme, corridors of time, and the chrono trigger theme music cross faded in to one seven minute MP3.

I wish companies that did these retro game releases would let you buy the soundtracks for them, too, but that seems really rare for some reason.

Just download the soundtrack from somewhere. The 5 medley songs thing is a total bad joke. It take just parts of the regular SNES tracks, and then has them play one after the other, with a jarring break in-between each track.

If you just download the whole SNES soundtrack, you'll have the full tracks, rather than just some pieces of them.

Many thanks for all of you. I thought that this medley song was something special and had never been released before. So now I could ignore 'Steam Limited Edition' cause I own 'Chrono Trigger Ultimania Walkthrough http://store.jp.square-enix.com/item/9784757524699.html, and inside the book, it has interviews of both music composer and game developers (a.k.a liner note?).

I might save up money to buy the physical Chrono Trigger OST instead http://store.jp.square-enix.com/item/SQEX_10167_70.html or buy the newest blu-ray music of Xenogears instead http://store.jp.square-enix.com/item/SQEX_20048.html.
