[SPOILER] Copycat mini game BUG

Okay

I'm trying to get Crono's Dopple Doll early and I've completed the mini game like eight times. I don't get the message that the clone will be at my house like I did with the kitty doll. His shadow clone just ain't appear in his room. Am I missing something here, like is he on vacation with Naruto's clones or is this a bug too? It seems like the event flag for my reward isn't triggering or something.

Obviously this cannot do as a bug. Can anyone confirm if they are having this bug as well?

Late reply but I did not have this happen to me. I was able to win the clone doll before fighting Magus and it was in Crono's room as normal. Sorry this doesn't help you at all

I had the issue at the start of the game, as I wanted to get it done way before. I ended up just restarted until the event triggered and I was rewarded for my win.

And no problem, glad it works for other people. :)

It's a bug.

The only way to get around it, unfortunately, is to save the game and keep rebooting and re-trying until it works. It's what I had to do.
