Up stuck on DPad?
Hey all

I've been trying to play this for a while but I've been having the same issue with two different controllers.

I first had an issue with using a SNES to USB converter, and the "up" button on the DPad is stuck -- I start my game and Crono just runs up until he hits something and then stands there. I thought maybe it was the converter -- it's pretty old, and I've had it forever, so I bought a SNES-style USB controller and...

SAME problem. Up runs up forever. I foung one other thread with a similar issue, but no solution, and it was from months ago. So... Help a fellow CT nerd get her game on please. D:

I had the exact same issue, was searching for a fix for hours but couldn't find anything of help. Was forced to refund for the time being because the game is literally unplayable with this bug.

In my case this bug even persisted without a controller connected (keyboard and mouse were the only inputs). If you ever find a fix, please let me know...

That can't be the case, as it is happening to me, too, and I also have a XBox 360 USB controller.

I had the same problem like the UP key was stuck, my controller is the 8bitdo SNES30. Here is what fixed it for me:

Go under Steam/Settings/Controller/General Controller Settings, check "Xbox Configuration Support" and/or "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support" and see if it fixes the problem.

I have both of those options checked and my controller works perfectly now, either plugged in or paired wirelessly.

Just downloaded the game and they never did a bug fix for this issue, but I found your instructions and they worked! Thanks a ton!

My controller is a Buffalo USB Snes-style Classic gamepad. Have played multiple steam games from Square-Enix with it and never had this happen.
