Report a translation problem
On top of that, the sprite filtering, which is supposed to make the game look smoother, ends up breaking a lot of tilesets. If you look at some of the pictures others have posted, it's most obvious in the forest tiles on the world map, where parts of trees don't line up correctly or have very noticeable edges around tile clusters.
The rest might be subjective - the font and DS re-translation, for example, but it's without question a low-effort port.
It is a port of the NDS / mobile version, rather than the SNES ROM.
The music re-mastering sounds much worse than the original SNES job:

There is no indication that the player can select whether to use the original English translation from the SNES version, or the NDS re-translation. Which translation is better is up to preference. I think the NDS version's translation lost a lot of the charm of the original release's translation.
There are no screen-filtering options.
Look closely - with this tiling (not to mention filtering artefacts), what isn't wrong?
See I did look at the steam review and while they mention some of the problems people have mentioned here they provided no examples or silly reviews just "don't get it" which is useless
I understood the tile problem but as far asI know that isn't exclusive to this port of the game some of the emulator consoles have a similar if not the same problem as some users said the soundtrack is a little different and the translations aren't the same I would prefer the original translations as one user said it helps keep the charm of the game
I think the biggest issue to me for buying this version would be that it uses touch control boxes on screen and I really think that is a massive put off it just takes up screen space that it just has no business taking up
But thanks to everyone who gave some answers here
