If you like the classic translation and you don't like the FMVs and extra content, stick with the SNES version.
The PS1 version is similar to the SNES version, except with load times and the added FMVs.
The mobile version is similar to the DS version, except there's two FMVs missing (Robo's introduction and the Fall of Guardia), and the Arena of Ages and Bestiary are missing, and the game isn't exactly all that great in mobile.
The Steam version is similar to the mobile version, but refined from that version to make more or less an experience resembling the DS version. The initial release was a mess, but it has improved a lot beyond that. The two FMVs, the Arena of Ages and the Bestiary are still missing, though.
In other words, pick whatever version is convenient for you.
Steam version is the best version if you want to play on a TV/Monitor. The DS version is best if you want to play on a handheld. Both feature the same color saturation, bonus content, rewritten script, extras, and both have their own improved menus, UI and fonts.
