instruction manual?

I've never played this game before, but I know for a fact the game would have come with an instruction manual when it was released on the SNES.
Sure, modern games are made in such a way that a manual is not needed, but SNES games were not. I need to read the manual to learn about the elements and spells and somesuch.
Why is there not one been placed in the menu or somehow accessible from steam page?

Read a walkthrough on Gamefaqs.com for the game for SNES or DS, many guides break down all the details a manual would like controls and spell names. Also there's wiki for like any game these days. Google is your friend. Manuals aren't needed in the day and age all information needed is a Google search away.
