AND
It can ONLY play video's downloaded throu your Steam client so you canot play 360 video content you already have on your drive :*(
Then when you finaly have a video download it tells you that you must have either tracked motion controler or mouse n keyboard
As im on a PC I have M/K but it still refuses to play as I do not meet the controler requirements.
If you are running Windows 10, then take a read of the FAQ here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8699-OASD-1871#360 so that you know what is and isn't working.
The early content we released for the beta is here: http://store.steampowered.com/sale/360video
Add one or more of those to your library and then from Library -> Videos, click Watch.
And no longer interested as it canot play 360Video's I already own on my system.
But thx for coming to the forums to help your customers :D its good to see.
Thanks. And yes, we aren't trying to solve (just yet) playing your own videos. That may come in a future update...
In steam VR status window, click the 3 horizontal bars, select media player.
Profit.
9 FPS... Any suggestions?
I've tried every free video on Steam's "360 Video" page. Not a single one of them work with a Valve Index. They open in the player, but you are forced into theater mode so in order to "turn your head" you click and drag with the mouse on the flat theater screen.... So that's pretty bad... Not sure why this program exists...
