[SPOILERS] - Endgame and quest items.

Kinda stuck.

So I found Sinners's road and two Bell Shards - one from the bard guy, and one from the caverns. I kinda get that one should be the reward from the "Mother" quest, but I can't find any new direction to search for "end of day" Tried west, found the vampire dude, but no actual progress since then.

So any suggestions, where are other items might be hidden?

Also, have no clue where The Cresent Key might go -_-

and i dont have a clue what could be the "mark of the death" for the "chamber of life". tried some things which all was not working like low health/soulless and those things <.<

"but" i have some thoughts about it: what is if those things only can be obtained in ng+

(because dev said in another thread that there are secrets which can only be obtained in ng+1/ng+2, source: https://steamcommunity.com/app/613190/discussions/0/1694922980036766046/#c1694922980036899559)

but i dont give up, not now :D

after running through the whole map again... the missings shards are only collectable in ng+ or i'm really blind...i mean if i would miss 1 it would be okay.. but not 3 or 4 or how much are i am missing if i have only 2...

i mean i found alot of hearts and runes.. but no more shards >.<

I found 3 Bell Shards so far but now i dont know how to progress further with the shards...
with chamber of life is maybe the the cave in there the game starts meaned. Got 1 shard from a vessel thats hanging on chains in the spawn room sorry for my bad english :D

Which spawn room? can you link a screenshot to the place?

I think I've found all but one bell shard in NG.
-There's one that you get from an NPC just giving it to you (the bard)
-One that you get from returning to the place where you begin the game and shooting yourself (this requires you to invest once in the deathmark skill to pass a door that says you must have the mark of death; this is around the Catacombs and it also requires the Crescent Key that you get by going right from the first boss room with fire)
-One that you get from doing the mother content in Shaded Sanctum
-One that you get from getting the anti-toxin rune in the Laboratory and using it to go beneath the ferryman and into an acid maze

I also found the location where the shards go. To access it, you need to defeat Kayen (burn the tree at the aboveground start of the game and go left), then once you beat him spend an atonement in the Vampirism skill. Doing this allows you to drink the blood in the church beneath Undone Palace (with the cage head enemies), and it unlocks a path to the room with the bells. I've put in 3 shards out of the 4 I've gotten, and I only seem to need to put 2 more in place, so I'm missing 1 shard.

I don't know where it is. My best guess is that it involves the room to the left of Hearth with the moaning guy in the jail cell. I don't know where else to look. The acid maze in Caverns where I found one of the shards seems to have another route in it but I can't access it. It just shows a doorway on the map.

I'm also pretty sure that the orange peak at the top of the map is the point of no return so I don't want to go in there.

Alright, that's actually useful! Can you please tell us where/how did you get deathmark? (I did the equality room, but got just the rune)
And how did you access Shaded Sanctum?

The peak of Beacons is indeed the final boss location, once you initiate the fight - you can't go back.
Maybe we can summon the dev for some hints, lol? :)

Okay thats intresting i cant remember to found an area called shaded sanctum and this mother side quest :O cant wait to get home and play :D can u give a hint where the sanctum is located ? that would be pretty nice ! Spend 3 hours yesterday for backtracking and hitting walls with the flame etc ^^

Can´t remember where u can unlock it but the Deathsmark is a skill u can atone in your skill tree just like the vampirism skill when u unlocked it

Thanks a lot! That still leaves us with Shaded Sanctum location and the last shard no-one knows where to look for

This leaves us with finding the lock that fits the cresent key.

The howling undead or whatever in the jail cell that Godotwashere has mentioned above isnt there just for no reason. Backtracked often to this room but cant figure out what to do there or with him

The lock for the cresent key is behind the Reaper Statue in undercity wich u can acess by put 1 skill point in the Deathsmark skill. And it allow u to acess the "tutorial" area of the game

Did anyone try Thornvale? They always mention the giant Filth Tree (that is clearly seen in the background when there), and that something horrible is there, but I'm not sure if there is a path through thornvale without getting ported back.

OH NO.... deathmark skill you get from permantly spending lifepoints by the guy after the password where you get the 1 life rune....

BUT:
tested it in my ng+ savefile... because... i restarted another save after my first throw me ng+ to collect all the stuff... and fun fact: i pressed no on that second save and now i cant do it anymore, so no chance for me on getting on my second save that skill...

so i have to start over a third time or do it in my ng+ save... i think i will start over.. second save took me only nearly 3h to reach the point of all abilities, so i think around 4-5h for the point with 2shards, rip my life >.<
