(You should also warn laptop user about that, it's a pretty big issue in my opinion because, you can't play the game as smoothly as you should and it really ruins the fun).
What about... Nvidia Geforce Overlay, and Windows gaming overlay? How bad is the FPS like it really shouldn't be an issue on a 610m card... it's very strange
If you're running on a laptop, could you please check the FPS_readme file in the game folder and try those things. If your machine is trying to use your integrated GFX card it's a system problem, if problems still persist. Let me know.
Edit - so I tried the Alt-Tab suggestion from another thread and it now works. Very strange
I've applied all of the suggested fixes, disabled windows fullscreen optimization, and disabled gsync.
