Paint bucket glitches dog

I've not seen a primary post mentioning this, but for a few months now, I've tried to give my dog a paint bucket and follow me around in jobs. While carrying the bucket, there's no problem... If I take the paint away, the dog basically freezes. It blinks and barks, the HUD comes up, and I can press the move button, but it doesn't move. I tell it to follow, it doesn't. It's just in the way, I can't place anything there. If I give my dog a paint bucket again, it'll follow me no problem. It's just taking away the paint that makes it glitch out.

It's weirder when the game acts like the dog isn't there when it's glitched, but that's a nicer one cause I can just work around it. That hitbox is HUGE.

I'm having the same problem, I have 2 work arounds for this and that is to give the Dog another paint can so they will move or to exit the building and go back into it, I know they are not the solution to the problem but I hope this might help someone
