Mac version not opening

So first up: love the game and all the DLC, I've put in over 160hrs into it, it's been a great help in anxious times for me of late. You guys did a great job on the whole, thank you.

But, since the last update, I've been unable to open the game. I'll click on the play button on steam, I get the Frozen District logo, then the loading screen, but as soon as that loading bar hits around the 95% point, the game quits and an error report is sent to Apple.

It would be nice if the problem could be resolved quickly, I was really digging the Farm Flipper content.
