Can't build interior doors in created interior walls.

I can't place an interior door in a created interior wall. It only allows the door to be placed in front or behind the created interior wall.

Are you using the half walls above where you want the interior door to go? They don't work like the exterior doors which require you to use the sledgehammer to knock holes in, they need the half walls above where they will go to be as wide as the door is to be able to be placed in line with the wall.
