Mirrors showing black all over the place... please help!
I hope someone can help!
I've have House Flipper and all DLC's and since starting a new profile I'm noticing a lot of places where mirrors either don't reflect (they're just black) or they reflect the outside!! Has anyone else had this? Is it my settings or something graphics related? Or is it something the devs need to fix?
Thanks x

I noticed the same thing today as well. All mirrors I put up were just black instead of reflective. I thought it might be because I changed all of my settings to "low", just so I could play the game. But I guess that isn't the problem. Seems like the devs have a whole lot they need to fix.

When that happened to me I rebooted my PC and when I went back into the game the mirrors were fine....also make sure your graphics options are set to at least high because on medium they show black for me.

Try putting the mirror on a different wall in a different room. Or just carrying it around without placing it. You'll notice that it depends entirely on where you are in a house and which direction you are facing as to whether it reflects black, the room, or outside of the house as if standing on the footpath. Some houses don't seem to have the problem, others have lots. Its most definitely some kind of bug to do with how the game codes reflection. You also can see this with changing the tiling or painting in a room with a mirror that has already been placed. It will continue reflecting what was there before until you leave the room and re-enter. So its not continuously calculating reflections, its going and looking somewhere for the info that tells it what to reflect. Which means if it gets told there is nothing there you'll get black, or something weird happens with the room and it shows what it would look like to be stood on the footpath outside the house (in that instance I keep looking for a feint outline of a man in a white shirt, shorts, and sock tan lines, haven't seen him yet though).

My mirrors all went black when I changed the graphics settings to low (I was trying to see if my FPS rate would improve - spoiler, it didn't). The mirrors stopped being black when I increased the graphics settings again.
