If you have an accent in the game path this can create a "Failed to load Mono" when you try to start the game. So for example your path would be all folder names need to travel to get to the game file to lauch, and if any of the folders have accents with in the name of the folder it will cause a "Failed to load Mono" error. Also make sure there is no open space in front of the folder name, so like if you were labling the folder and hit the space bar and then typed it would create a space between the starting point and the actual folder name.
So you need to find the game in your steam folder and make sure the name of all the folders to get to the House Flipper game only use letters and has no special characters. For example and properly labled folder would look like: My Games, improperely labled might look like: ~My Games!
I believe the path is: C:Program Files (x86) > Steam > SteamMapps > Common > House Flipper
No where in any of the folders or anywhere on your PC for that matter should any folders be labled with anything but letters, i think you can use numbers but to make every thing easy just use letters. Check your file paths/folder names and fix if you find any. Other then that i am not sure what else could cause this, usually improperly labled folders cause a "Failed to load Mono"
it would be like me speaking English to a French person that doesn't understand any English, the conversation doesn't go well and ends quickly.
I went through all the game folders, and files, but found nothing amiss. I went ahead and changed a few, checked file integrity, and Steam corrected those I had changed. This is the only game I have on Steam that is doing this, and the one I wanted to play the most.
Thank you, for the help though. I appreciate it.
