1. Physics knocked garbage underground, high up into the air or otherwise out of the plot entirely. Large stacks of garbage tend to get sent flying with some of the higher-level garbage removal skills. I found a bag of cement neatly balanced onto a fence.
2. Framerate hitches cause some garbage to not count towards the counter. On a number of occasions, I'd remove a large pile of garbage at the same time and my game would freeze for a good 4-5 seconds. If game logic is calculated per frame (which I suspect it is, because Unity), garbage I removed might not have been counted correctly.
3. Garbage got knocked out of the zone where its removal would count. Depending on how garbage is tracked, knocking it over into a completely different location could potentially cause it to not count towards the area it was originally from.
Suffice it to say, though, garbage does not appear to count properly in jobs currently.
Same, spent 48 minutes on rubbish to outdoor gym and could not 100% because of the game saying 96% trash collected on section 1 when there is clearly none.
Hey guys. Found the issue to specifically be with pallets on this one. Even more to it, if there is a bunch of loose cans and glass bottles stacked on top of an object like a box, typically if you thrash the object below it and the cans / glass falls - That's typically when the issue occurs. Would recommend if stuff is stacked ontop of a large object, one by one remove them first. This will avoid that thrash object flying or getting stuck in the ground layer.
