Painting the outside of a house affects the inside paint.
Usually I paint/panel the outside of my house and mow the lawn before I even go inside the house. Doing the Uncle's Bunker one I've left the painting until last. Now, when I paint above a window on the outside of the house it is repainting the inside. I've had to buy a new set of paints just to go over the few panels that have accidentally been painted silver glacier. Has anyone else had these problems? I don't want to go to the pfaff of reporting the bug (instructions on Bugs page seem really daunting) if its a known problem.

This is a known problem. Stay away from windows and doors when painting outside. As soon as you use the paint horizontal it can be seen inside too.

Yep. This is a common problem. Just be careful. I've had to go back inside and fix many times.

It's better to use panels outside (stone wall, wood or both combined). It makes houses look way better than just paint.

Good idea. I don't use panels very much as they're expensive and take a lot of time. But I will use them now if I forget to paint the house first.

I dunno, I think my sky blue office looks kinda spiffy. Although, I will admit that if I'd noticed the pale brick panels before I'd painted my office, I probably would've gone with that.

The trick is to paint the outside of the house first. Then it doesn't matter what you do. Personally I go for a more alluring lavender. Working on the assumption that prospective clients won't miss it when looking for me :steamhappy:

For the panels, just use all but the last one. Sell it. You should get most of your money back. I think they cost around $67 for a pack. I get about $55 back if I sell the last one.
