Why add pets to a game about selling property's ????

This game is great but it makes no sense at all in adding pets to sell a house, all this is doing is making it like you wished your game was the sims, it's not the sims it's about flipping property's, this to me just screams cash grab, does not even tie in with the game.

Gardens, hell yes because that helps sell a house, HGTV, why not because its a program all about flipping houses, pets, absolutely not, hows it gonna sell a house by putting dog and cat hair all over your nice new furniture and them dumping all over ya newly redone garden.

I think its more so meant to give whatever house you choose as your office some more interactivity.

Remember Luxury DLC is also on the way for all your flipping needs.

Anyway, we've seen so many requests as well as Steam Workshop projects related to pets.

Pets DLC also brings a ton of new items (not just for pets, but also new cozy-styled furniture) and 10 new properties to renovate.

Properties sounds all good but pets not so much, ill probably get it anyway because i hate having missing dlc but there ya go im not a cat lover, hate cats :).

I don't have the incessant need to have the pets....buuuuuuut...when I saw the hands lift the poor puppy out of the box in the filthy attic and reflected on some of the houses we've had to clean up in missions and the condition we get the houses in...Well now I have to get the DLC simply to rescue all the poor abandoned and neglected animals. lol

I agree, but I do look forward to a little room for personality. I'd honestly love it if they'd implement something like random houses and values popping up as you play as they would in real life. Random already renovated/sold houses could be resold under new names, so it could be ongoing.

The incongruity of chickens in a game about selling houses is the whole point of putting them in!

Hmmm. Pets in a home restoration type game? I dont see the point. If I want a game with pets, I would play the Sims. What I would rather like to see in this game is being able to add rooms, as in increase the footprint, of the house....but adding pets?....no thanks. Not interested.
