How Do You Lay Floor Tiles

i know, google it. I did like 10 times. Watched a few videos, read a few instructions and it's just not working. I'm so agitated over trying and trying again and still can't figure it out. Please help.

When you bought the tiles, you first place them on the ground, I think with the left mouse button (I haven't played for a longer while, so I hope I remember correctly). Then you right-click the mouse button and choose the scraper for tiles and just left-click on the wall. There are 10 tiles in a pack, so if you don't have bought enough, you have to buy another pack or two. You do it the same way when you want to put wooden panels on the wall. You always need to place any pack on the ground first and then right-click to choose the correct tool from the tool wheel. Hope this helps. :-)

That's the way you can put wall tiles.
Forget about it for floors.
You just need to choose the tiles you want, get out of the shop and point to the ground.
You are going to see highlighted tiles and you just need to place them (as I don't know if you're playing with keyboard or controller, I'm nor going into more details).
NB : you can do an entire room in one shot !

I'm using a mouse and I just tried all of that and it's still not working. I don't get it. Why is this so difficult to learn?

Well that's the point : it is very easy (way more than wall tiles)!
Where do you get blocked in what I'm describing?
- Are you able to choose tiles and get out of the shop?
- Do you see the highlighted tiles when pointing to the ground?

1. buy tiles 2. place tile stack on floor 3. select tile tool 4. click on tile stack with tool 5. click floor, blue highlight should come up 6. drag/hover over the floor with blue highlights 7. click to set them

There is no tile stack for the floor coverings and you don't need any tool to place them.

I bought 3 sets of tiles, because buying one set didn't work. I placed them all on the floor. Then I got the tiling tool in hand. Then clicked on the tile, then on the floor and the only thing that happens is the tile sticks to my hand and nothing is highlighted

Go to Store > Floor and ceiling > Floor and ceiling tiles > Buy now. Buy tiles. Point tiles at ground and left click on the areas highlighted in blue to place them.

I finally got it. I was working on the quest extra bathroom and took the tiles from the task menu and that wasn't working. So I thought maybe the tile is the problem. So I went into the floor tile menu and worked no problem. Sure looks like a bugged quest to me.

Those are wall tiles! Easy to get mixed up if you're searching for tiles in the search bar, you don't need the tiling tool to place them on the floor, and the piles are only for the walls.

CRAP ,the quest is buggeD !!!!!!!!! The tiles bought from the quick objective menu do not work, other tiles work !!!

There's two separate versions for the same look for a few of the tile sets. Navigate to the first tab, click on floor and wall tiles, select the one you want, click buy. When the menu closes, click on a square on the floor and then drag your cursor to the location you want it to go to. You don't need to hold the mouse button down, just click to start and click to end.

Actually I dont care about that look, the problem is the quest that I couldnt finish it only at 88% ...:-/
