Is there a way to ensure getting DLC jobs?
I decided to start a new save file with the release of pets, (and i bought gardening on a whim at the same time), but in it the only jobs I've gotten in it other than base game ones have been gardening dlc jobs and I think two bunker ones; no pets, no luxury(which I got a bunch of in my last game, so I know it should work), nothing. I know I've done a lot of jobs in general and sold several houses, so I'm trying to figure out how to do something new, since I'm getting kind of sick of mowing lawns and I would really love to try out the pet gameplay that inspired me to get back into the game in the first place.

I suspect I know what the problem is:

Since you have started a new save, you have started a new game. I know for a fact that HGTV map jobs require you to complete 3 email orders before the map unlocks. The Luxury one requires 7. I'm not sure how many are needed to unlock Pets, but probably the same as Luxury.

Generally, I have found that the DLCs which use Map of Jobs assume that you have all skills maxed out. Tiling and Basic Painting skills perks are particularly important. The DLC houses are Big.

Ironically, if you Hadn't started a new game, the new DLC Maps of Jobs would have just added themselves automatically.

The jobs for the base game and the Garden DLC come through the email section on your laptop. The jobs for the other DLCs are through the map section. After you click on the map, you'll be able to drag the map around to find the different jobs available.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

oh gosh, i feel silly! in the months since i've last played i'd completely forgotten how that part of the game worked. thank you so much lol, i probably would have banged my head against it for several more days before i remembered. still not sure where the cyberpunk ones went, but there weren't many of them anyway so it's not much to mourn. :]
