Farm DLC 1st job: Install giant windows where?

On the first farm job, I'm supposed to install this massive 300 x 200 cm window in the hayloft and there isn't enough room on the side walls. I tried putting it on the back wall between the haylofts but the game didn't register it. What am I missing?

It has a white spot on the back wall. I used scaffolding to get it right between the white lines.

did you use scafolding on the outside of the barn? do i need to demolish it first.

I added the window from the inside standing on one of the ledges you can climb up to, worked fine, avoid the scaffolding when ya can it cuts into the client budget

so you were on the second floor and used the sledge hammer? or you dont need to use that?

I used the lift outside that you use to fix the roof and get the grappling hook.. I just dragged it through to the inside of the barn.. I tried to do it so many times from the side ledges and it was never centred properly.. ended up adding/removing/adding/removing.

Took me a while to work out as well that you need to place the window, then smash the wall with the hammer and then 'use' the hole to actually place it felt very silly after I finally got it on the third time.

stand on one of the sides and use the sledge hammer to knock it out yes

I can only get 92% on this job. Nothing else is showing as needing to be done. This is the second time I have restarted. Any ideas please, it's driving me nuts

ok, got it. i needed to be in the right place! i put the window off location the first time!

So turns out you have to use the scaffholding machine that's outside with which you get up to fix the roof for the game to detect the windows.
