Veronica and others insist I have toys. I do not. Bug? Are other items labeled as children's?
Is this a bug or do other objects have a children's tag? I was making a house specifically for Veronica, and her and some other buyer always insisted I had toys when there were none. I had no child's furniture according to the the tablet. No toys anywhere, I was (am) completely stumped. I was able to sell her the house by deleting the tables in the living room to make it into a home theater. Just weird. Are there children's paintings perhaps? or potted plants? Rugs? I sold all the statues in the house as I thought one of those could be labeled a toy. No luck.

Is there a master list or wiki of what all the items are considered in the game? Classic, Modern, Children's, etc... This would be quite helpful if not.

Did you by any chance had "Kall" book case, or "Kall" boxes. (or was it the rounded Kall boxes) Those do count as children stuff, some other boxes might too, not 100% sure on that.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check on the Kali stuff that may be it if those are not listed in the children's furniture section. I had no boxes anywhere though.

If the devs see this: It would be AMAZING to be able to sort all this in the tablet in the game. see what all is kids stuff, or classic, or modern, etc... I'm talking across all item categories, see everything tagged in the game as those things.

Checked. No, did not have Kall anything.

Furniture alone isn't what makes a room....type of room also depends on the dimensions or size and all of the furniture combined.

Veronica is probably the second easiest....just add a lot of paintings a bookcase and plants in a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom home....don't think any other room is needed and she likes pastel colors

When furnishing the home, keep an eye on what the potential buyers say,

you can occasionally catch yourself just when placing smoething "unwanted" in the house.

This is what I did, Followed her likes and dislikes as best as they are documented in game, and online. The issue was something triggered her to think I had toys (or children's furniture, etc...) in the house when there were none. That's why I was curious if there is anything else in the game that is tagged as children's besides what we can see as the children's furniture and children's accessories tabs in the tablet. I checked many times and there were no children's anything in the house according to the tablet in game. All I can think of is something else is tagged as being children's that is not listed as such in the tablet. Or it was just a bug. Was very frustrating none the less. Thanks for your suggestions though.
edit: I check to be sure my bedroom is a bedroom in game, or living room, kitchen, whatever. No there was not a children's room if that's what you are asking.

I tried my best to do that of course, but i'm sure you know how it is. You get in the zone furnishing a room and don't look after every little thing you place, then two hours went by in real time and you realize you have not eaten yet and question if you even have been blinking. hahaha. I will be more diligent from now on though as she was my first buyer I specifically targeted. Thanks for the help.

Don't pay ANY attention to what it says in game that they like and dislike...it is mostly wrong in regards to the peoples TRUE likes.

The Asian guy for instance it says likes Saunas but he actually HATES them and he LOVES the color Green yet no mention of that in game.

You will want at LEAST 7 pieces of Art.....Paintings or Pictures. If all you want is the achievement than you should be able to just sell everything and just add a bunch of artwork to the walls.

Any mistakes with a piece of furniture use the sell tool to fix it and continue test buy sell.

I was recently told that using a small lamp on bedside stand that is labeled "night light" will trigger being labeled as having children's things in the home. Makes no sense.
Kathykins Apr 17, 2022 @ 12:42am
I've not seen any of the buyers care about colour. I can paint an entire house red, with red furniture etc, and Jimmy won't even lift an eyebrow. I think the devs have also said that colour preferance was removed, or somesuch.

Makes sense that "night lights" are considered kid stuff, think its not normally an adult thing. Veronica will react to the smallest things, of course. As Goth Taroth said, give her at least 7 pieces of art and a minimum of 5 plants of any size. She doesn't like people, but plants are good. A bookcase is something she wants too, if only for the "artistic look".

I sold her the house, that's not really the problem. I was just trying to figure out what I put in the house that was tagged as kids stuff. Perhaps it was a lamp. It was (is) just frustrating because I know I had no children's toys or furniture as they are listed in the tablet. Thanks for all your help and comments people.
