Can you turn off clipping/collision in this game?
For example there's a cheat code in sims so that you can turn off collision and put items inside of each other, and push them closer to stuff etc to do more fine details. I was just watching something and saw that they could not place the bed against the wall and had to leave a gap. That's a huge issue in these designer games for me personally so I'm just wondering if there a way to turn off item collision? There doesn't seem to be a way to turn off the grid lock either?

Thanks for answering, maybe in the future eh? Would be nice as a console command or something :D

Good to know, so thank you! Is it also not possible to change the collider/hit box (or however it's called) so that we can put certain objects closer to each other? Especially for plants/flowers and some other garden/decoration stuff that would be really welcome. At the moment it is for instance very hard, if not impossible, to make a really nice, lush (in- and/or outdoor) garden. When the plants/flowers have a pot, maybe you could make only the pot collide with other items, not the flowers/leaves (as a start)?

Collider boxes are the bane of my existence sometimes.

Sorry for necroing, but seriously this is needed. In the pre-built houses that you've done, if you move something, sometimes trying to put it back in the same place is IMPOSSIBLE because it's been placed half an inch into the wall etc to cover the spots, but we are unable to replicate that. If you're able to do it, why are we not able to?

You really limit player creativity by locking us into not being able to do these things, especially because some of the collisions make no sense (eg trying to do molding). This game would be 1000x better if you allowed collision.

I honestly thought creative mode was that, but it does nothing (like absolutely nothing that creative would otherwise imply).

to get back on topic...
Especially in the bunker, a lot is placed on the shelves, but who puts each can individually with 5 cm of space on a shelf? Please make cans, rice and noodles stackable, it's more realistic...

This is one of the reasons why I don't like doing the bunkers. Because the buyers want umpteen of every type of food (because there's never ENOUGH!) and everything has to be placed too far apart. I some times wish I could use ALT-placement or MOO (move objects on) like we do in Sims. And for plants outside too, really.

If you still need it The Move Objects cheat allows you to place objects anywhere without interfering with objects around the object you’re placing. u do have to enable cheats though unfortunately

To use this cheat, open the cheat console using CTRL + Shift + C , type in bb.moveobjects and then press enter. To disable this cheat just enter the cheat again.
