Bastal gate for interior dog enclosure not working

it won't let me build it anywhere

You have to place the Bastal interior dog fence first then place the gate over the top of it. When it outline in green/blue then click the mouse and it will set the gate.

this got me too. no explanation for it in game. you build the dog pen first, the gate places over the "wall" of the dog pen

oh it goes over the top ok I was trying to put it on the side of it
