How do i set up the fence gate?

Position the fence against the wall where you want to start, then drag until the fence runs out and the last post appears, click again to do that action again until you reach the other wall and see a full fence with no gate. Then you attach the gate by hovering over that fence, when you know where you want the gate, make sure the box at the bottom of the gate is on that part of the fence and click to place it down. you can add multiple gates to a fence. Hope that helps.

i ran the fence from one wall to the other, but i had to add 3 gates not two for it to complete the objective of 2 gates

You're very welcome. I had to delete mine a few times and re-install before I had it work right as well, the dev's have said they are working on a better system...
