And it's NOT actually working. Info from this page: https://pastebin.com/GtME6jq1
I'm working on the exact same house -- the Accountant's House -- which does belong to a guy (I have stories for all my houses) but it's NOT NOT NOT a "man cave." (Personally, I find the term extremely misogynistic.) I don't know what triggered it, but I really want the designation to change to something else, ugh!
Have you ever seen any mention of a "she cave" in the game? Or a "she shed"? Just sayin'.
Apparently *some* people missed the fact that I said, "PERSONALLY, I find the term misogynistic." That's my OPINION, and I'm entitled to it. That said, the point is, I want to know what constitutes a "man cave" because a kitchen, living room, dining room, and home office area do not make a "man cave."
What's funny is, in the basement of that same house I put a billiard table and some seating, along with a kitchen sink area for refreshments, and the room is designated, "Room."
answer might be late but I got the man cave
it needs:
• Leather Sofa (I used the "wide leather sofa")
• TV (Used "Rame hanging TV" size M)
• TV cabinet (Used "Modern TV cabinet Andy")
• Arcade (Used "Arcade Cyber Flipper")
removing any of this will turn the man cave into a normal room
Sofa must be modern and leather (Wide Leather and Derrera work, Elegant Leather doesn't -- most sofas don't).
Cabinet must be modern and standing (TV stands Andy and Anna work, so do Olo, Venne, and Mal, but Vira and Classic don't).
TV can be mounted or standing, it just can't be old.
And there is only one Arcade game in the base game -- I tried the ones in the Workshop, but they all set the room to Garage, so you can't even add them to make a proper Mancave with more than one Arcade game.
I have the HGTV DLC, but made sure I tried it with only base game items. Some items from the HGTV DLC do work as well, such as the Krabia and Ignacy Sofas. The TV stand from the Cyberpunk DLC does unfortunately not work, only the Derrera sofas.
Lttp but I’m pretty sure us Switch players are blocked from making this room as there doesn’t seem to be any arcade machine. I’ve tried everything.
