Mirrors Reflect The Truth?

Anyone else get slightly freaked out by the way the mirrors deal with reflections sometimes? You know, you place a mirror down, look in it and you aren't there. Neither is the furniture/fittings nor the wall behind you. All you can see is the empty street behind you, and you're stood on the footpath. But if you look out to your right/left, there is the street outside the window. The footpath is over there right?

And then other times you place them and you see the stuff in the room. So its less spoopy. Weirdest is when you place a mirror in one room and it reflects the stuff there, then in another, there is no room behind you. You've been dreaming/hallucinating the whole time. And you're left second guessing your in-game character's reality.

Or maybe that's just me?

I do sometimes get freaked out when websites ask me if I'm a robot or not too many times in a row. What if I am a robot and don't know it? How do any of us really know? If I check the "not a robot" could I be lying without realising it?
