game stuck on loading screen

hi Devs. so after restarting game several times my next step was to uninstall and reinstall . that still had no effect, after which i restarted steam and my router then tried again. still nothing after loading screen , so i then verified the install files and all were correct and intact, still nothing. so here i am , what is my next step ,I'm a big fan of game but after this last update i have not had much luck playing it.

If you have items from the workshop that can slow the game at times. I'm having that problem so I am going to unsubscribe to items I don't use regularly as that can be the problem and the Dev's have no control on the workshop items.

There's currently a problem with the Classic Manor House. If you have that set to your office you can't load into the game because that house is broken. Quite a few of us are just stuck unable to enter into the game and are stuck at a frozen loading screen because our office is the Classic Manor. Someone mentioned starting a new game will fix it since you are no longer stuck at that house, but that's not a step I'm willing to take yet. Hopefully Dev's are working on a fix for that house so we can play the game again. Removing workshop items won't work if you are frozen on the loading screen if you are trying to load into the Classic Manor house, sadly.

This is the last house job I have to finish and can't finish as it just keeps saying "Loading". I go back to my office to retry and then is says resume and restart and yep LOADING.

Take a look at this other thread. It may help you get out of the bugged house and to another owned home so you can move your office and continue playing until this is fixed.

So what I'm reading is that I have to guess which way I'm looking and try to face the gate and hit e to get in but that's not working and I finally have over a million in sales only to have to start from zero and go through all over again....why we can't revert back to before that office change or something like that . Please don't make me hate the game I love ....please don't make me have to start over. This is my only outlet to get me thru the day while going thru chemo and all that comes with it . This is what helps me . Stress is not what I need and atm this is very frustrating.

Hopefully, the devs will fix this bug soon. It would also be nice if the devs communicated with us players better. As it stands, we don’t even know if they are trying to fix the bug. Tap, tap, tap…devs, you here?

Yes......this. If you have Classic Manor set as your office you may not be able to load the game at the moment. I'm in the Old Warehouse so the game loads but the house I was working on at the moment was the Classic Manor and it won't load.

I got the same problem. Waiting for a fix for this. Kind of addicted to the game

I'm having the same issue being stuck on the loading screen or like the little screen that pops up for me when steam is "updating" but it's been on the same screen for almost 3 hrs now. I've even tried closing the little window for steam and reopen house flipper for it to end up on the same "steam updating screen". And currently it's saying the "update" will take over a year to finish. Now idk anything about the glitch with the classic manor but that's still good to keep in mind once the game actually opens for me.

Sadly I do not own any other homes, nor did I have any jobs started. I was actually planning on buying a different home but updated first, hindsight. But hopefully that can work for others. For now I'm either stuck waiting for the devs or I have to restart and I'm 600+ hours deep so I'm not excited about the latter option.

actually is not so bad as it sound, when you load your game, you will know you are at your office when you strat hearing the birds,and you always spawn right in front of the gate,facing the opposite direction, so you need to just rotate a bit left or right, and press e and directly enter, if nothing happens try to move he mouse slithly more and press e and enter again , after a few tries you will get it right, i did too today :) but this works only if you have another house owned already

Actaully my problem is i have the last house left to fix up on the lux. DLC and its jessicas house and every since i left thew game fixing that house it has frozen me solid. very annoying if you ask me because im 98 percent done with that fix up
