Light switch is just gone

I was doing the 'Let's Rock Right Meow' mission. The room where you have to destroy the walls, the light switch is no where to be found. Normally it's on the ground if I destroy a wall, but I have looked everywhere. Is this a glitch? I can't 100% it now and may have to restart.

cant you buy a new one from the store? when items fall off walls they get damaged you can't reuse them, this was added a while ago in an update

The more they add to this game the more bugs I see. I've had light switches and outlets go through the floor, I've had ceiling molding disappear into the ceiling. Usually I can target them with the sell tool and get rid of them. I read other players are having invisible items block halls and are unable to sell them but that's now a known issue that the devs are going to fix.

You may have to restart the job. Lately I move outlets and switches before I knock down walls, as a precaution.

Yeah, but it still should be on the ground somewhere. I need to sell 2 for the tasks. So, yeah the buying more won't work sadly.

Yeah, stupid me. I guess I forgot how I use to get frustrated and would remove any outlets or anything before destroying walls. It just sucks because this was the last room I needed to do before finishing. I'll do one more sweep of the whole house to see it landed some where but I walked around with the sell tool trying to find it.

I love House Flippers and the DLCs, but the glitches are wild. I do get it, adding stuff may cause older things to change but it makes me feel like waiting now. I was mostly excited for the farm one but I have found myself not playing though jobs and flipping houses as fast.
