Question about concrete slabs

In the normal game (without DLC's) I laid concrete slabs in the garden. However, the lawn always grows through the panels. How can I avoid this?
And how can I sell the concrete slabs again or tear them down? I can't find a way to remove them again.

Wow, great question. Can you use the hammer on they to destroy? That may bring back the grass. I don't think selling lawn items was ever an option in HF1, probably not in HF2. Try sledge hammer.

Yeah, this has been a bug for quite awhile now. Sometimes the grass will grow over the slabs which drives me crazy. Others have reported it growing in/over pools and decks (this one has happened to me, too). To the best of my knowledge, there is no fix to this. I've tried replacing the slabs with no luck. It's frustrating.

how to replace them? u cant destroy or sell them

You should be able to move or sell any of the concrete slabs that you've purchased in the store. If you're unable to do so, I'd recommend verifying your game files to see if that is the issue. Otherwise, it might be a bug.

There is a fix, but I think you need the garden DLC to use it. If you pick sand, wood chips or one of the pebble coverings to paint on your floor, you can paint that underneath the slabs and the grass will disappear.
