canopies & patios

Does anyone have an idea if it is possible to create canopies/patios with the architect tool?
It would be nice to be able to create things like this with the architect tool.

not that I can figure out. love the idea of adding attached canopies and porch roofs so they extend out from the back and front of the house.

I did a patio on second floor with architect tool & roof extends over it. But not sure if this what you mean?

Build 2 story - then on 2nd floor on three walls use large door frames to open walls. Then block off backs wall for room. Hope that makes sense =) Ask me if you need more info.
