architect tool

How do i get the architect tool? I am not able to lay foundations when asked in a scenerio

Left click on your mouse to open up selection dial. While it is open, press "Q" to change to the second "page" of the selection options. There is a house building option on there. I've not tried it yet, but that should be the tool for laying foundations.

Using the architect tool is a lot of fun. I will say one thing, setting a roof on your own building is difficult to master lol

They still need to add the option to remove the roof on vanilla buildings though cause it looks horrible when expanding them

Yes I agree with you. I would love to change the roofing colours and design too as making a themed house then not being able to theme the roof and eaves / gutter boards etc is a bit frustrating.
