window for gabled roofs?!

Some of the houses that you flip/complete jobs in have small windows in the gabled roofs. I tried to put a small window in the new gabled roof of a house I built. Is this not possible?

I also can't find the same roof texture as what's already on game original roofs. Maybe that stuff will come later? I certainly hope for an option to modify existing roofs. Expanding houses and having weird roofs is bugging me. Good thing buyers don't care.

"Origi grey" seems very similar to what you find on many smaller houses. I suspect "origi" stands for "original".

There is a fake window in the workshop. I used it on the gabled roof. It doesn't look fantastic, but it works as an alternative.

Which window did you use? I wanted to use the French one (horizontal with six panes), but it wouldn't work. It could only be mounted halfway over the roof edge.

There is only one fake window in the workshop that was created for the basements or bunkers. I can't remember the actual name of it at the moment, but it's not really hard to find. I just typed in the keyword "window" and was able to find it. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, no, that doesn't help -- there are 30 pages and 823 items (including curtains, etc.) that come up when you type in "window" as the search term.
