building an attic

Is there a way to build an attic with the farm dlc? I also can't rotate the roof. I was hoping that more options for the roof would unlock, after finishing some assignments. But so far i'v seen no options unlock.

You just have to put a roof and elevate it enough and you have an attic (you won't be able to put any window on none of the roofs and the stairs can't go on the sides, they have to stay around the middle highest points).

Yes you can build an attic with the gable roof and use the attic stairs in the ceiling, just becareful not to make the building too wide cause the wider it is the less Ceiling Height you have for the attic floor
