Window view outside

So when I step away from windows, it naturally unloads the view outside and all I see is a gray blank glass. Is there a way to stop that from happening? I want to be able to view the outside without needing to step so closely beside the window.

Settings>gameplay>eco>off, I think that's the one to fix the window issue you're dealing with

For anyone to encounters this topic and is curious which setting (because there's two ECO settings), it's called "Advanced ECO environment system", you need to uncheck it.
