Need a way to know paint colors

Sometimes when I am renovating a house, I want to repaint the walls in the original colors, but I can never figure out which color was used for the old paint. There needs to be a tool or feature to look up that color.

I just had the same thought! I was doing the job where you had to separate the parents' room and the toddler's room and I had no idea what color the walls were painted. The paint I chose to paint the new wall ended up being a different color.

We need something like a favourites folder where we can add and delete at will. Or maybe a job folder with up to 3x pages that we can name as sometimes we can be doing 3x jobs at once depending on our ideas at that moment. just a thought.

One thing I learned while renovating one of the game's houses is that outside of jobs, some houses use totally custom paint colors that you cannot match, which means you have to paint an entire room from scratch if you add or swap out a wall/lintel, which doesn't help matters. I do hope in the sequel that the colors they paint the in-game houses are all valid player colors, as it'd save us a lot of time and would be significantly less headache-inducing than spending fifteen minutes comparing several buckets of paint to a wall and finding out the color does not exist for me to use.

Adding to this: some sort of color picker for paint, but also floor/wall tiles and objects would be great. Especially with kitchen cabinets, I sometimes have trouble finding just the right combo again which I used earlier.
