Why is a terrace classified as outside when it comes to building walls but suddenly as inside when I want to place a garden flower pot? Shouldn't it be either or?

A Terrace is a raised platform of stone wood or glass, on the exterior of a building. It is also a slope cut into a hill or mound. Maybe they think you have a farm...

Thanks for the explanation, garyh 😉 I was just wondering why it is both in- and outside at the same time. Every other part is clearly categorized as either or, but not the terrace.

guess game don't think a terrace is a garden so no pot for you. (then again, its a pot, it should be placeable anywhere, even the kitchen)
Also find it silly you cant put pools halfway inside.
