Can't remove wall

OK So I bought the haunted house house and was renovating the basement and can't remove the wall that had the hidden door in it despite having rid the house of the haunts

but this wall here with the doorway in it can't be hit to remove it yet the smaller wall where the buyers list is that I could remove. Why can't I remove the other wall to make a larger basement room???

most likely a bug or glitch as makes no sense why one wall can be removed and not the other

Anything that is considered a load-bearing wall is indestructible (most often, it is the exterior walls of the house).

I don't know why said wall has been made double thick, And unremovable.
But on the other hand it's also a feature to work around.

the game does not have load bearing features the house I sold before this I had all the walls inside remove except one small corner room but the basement which was bigger then this one had no walls left in the middle as I turned the basement into a big game room with fooze ball and billiards and a couch TV area and had no problems removing walls is only this one wall which is also the same wall that had the hidden door in it in the haunted house.

Do you have the upgraded hammer. Looks like a sledge hammer.

as far as I know it's top level I only have like 2 things left to upgrade and that was strength and something else but I get no sort of error at all it's like a swing and a miss the hammer does not connect with the wall and no sort of message saying I need something else and it's only thins one wall in the haunted house I removed the other wall to this room but as Jannetin82 said about the wall is like double thick compared to other walls.

it's only this one wall which happens to be the wall that has an hidden door in it being it's a haunted house. Have destroyed others walls since without issue is only this one wall of the hidden room even the other wall was removed without issue the other 2 walls are external walls so not destructible!

And yeah this happened this morning have saved and restarted the game and issue with this one wall still persists.

I was just thinking about you and remembered there is several houses wiith secrets.
3 to be exact, House that is hiding something has the Van Gogh masterwork
That one requires the sledge hammer.

The haunted house doesnt have that, Its known as the the "Samarta Myers' House" :) It is haunted, so to cure the curse is buried out the back yard There is a tombstone and grave.
There is actually a guide with them in Guides ( secrets) here ya go sorry if its a spolier. But you put my memories in a different house lol . good luck !!!

yeah I got rid of the ghost already as I took the challenge and found the grave so that settled down the basement which was like I was drunk when I first entered it HA HA but the basements now settle no more wobbling around and part of the hidden rooms walls were removed but the one in the image above is 2 walls thick and can't be hammered upon to clear it. The short of the 2 internal walls could be but the longer can not.

In the end I put the short wall back and turned it into a bunker and made 135k on the sale HA HA

I've had that as game room, podcast room, Sauna, just as a storage room with all kind of "junk" everywhere, I think I placed swimming pool in there once...

It's just a feature to work around.
