The DLC adds the Gardening skill track and 3 Browser properties.
It also lets you enter any property into a Gardening competition which increases the sale price by between 10-50%. However, it's not very clear which exact criteria the gardens are scored by (they are different depending on the type of garden) so getting a score of 4 or 5 stars is a bit hit and miss.
You do get an outdoor selling tool, which lets you sell bushes for good money, and an axe to clear trees. The lawnmower takes about 3 short email orders to unlock, which take about an hour in total.
Also, the gardens are big, so I personally find them too grindy. However, taking your time with them might double or even triple your playtime with each property, so it's excellent value in that regard! Ask yourself whether you'll find it fun though.
The YouTuber Toogii seems to have found something that either an excellent compromise or a bit of a cheat, depending on how you look at it. He mows the lawn, removes weeds and molehills and puts the property up for a gardening competition without doing anything else to the garden (not planting anything or putting in any garden structures or furniture). This normally increases the property price by 5-10% with very little effort. Although it seems like a waste of a good DLC that lets you do so much more...
