I lost my progress, anyway to recover ?

i tought it has steam cloud save, but i had to reinstall windows and forgot to backup.
Seems i lost my progress.

You should always make sure that the cloud for House Flipper is DISABLED, otherwise it can happen that you lose your progress. Right-click on the game cover or the game's name on the left hand side, click on Settings and then remove the tick for the cloud.

As for your lost progress, go to my profile and read my guide carefully (see on the right hand side). I explain everything there but I never tried it myself with the backup folder, only know from other players that this worked for them in the described way. I always save the last savegame separately (outside the game) so that I can always use this in case something happens to the game or computer.

Yes, just do it like I describe in my guide by saving separately after every time you played. This makes sure that you can never lose your progress again because you'd always have the latest savegame separate. You can also try the way with the backup folder but like I said above, I never tried this option myself, only the separate savegame after every time I stop playing. If you don't disable the cloud, it can always happen again that you lose all progress.

There are so many posts/threads with exactly this issue, so many players lost their progress because of the cloud and if you search for those, you can see that others described how it works with the backup folder. This issue has been discussed really so many times before.

unfortunately, i do not have any bakcup folder.

One last question, do you have any idea where can i find a save game with like 10 hours in ? Or are there any cheats to gain money ?

Did you check your Documents folder (the one that is automatically installed when you get a new computer, not one that you created yourself) ? Once you started playing House Flipper and when you then close the game, there should be the folder called House Flipper in your documents folder and inside that, there should be a backup folder.

And did you also check the House-Flipper-Game-folder here C:/User/Your Name/AppData/LocalLow/Empyrean/House Flipper Game ? There are also backup folders in this one but not everyone has them. But actually, there should be the House Flipper folder in your Documents folder though. If you manage to find the backup folder somewhere, you'd probably be able to get back your lost progress but if not, you can at least disable the cloud and from now on always save separately as described in my guide. And if then something happens to the game again or your computer, you can always send the last savegame into the House Flipper-Game folder in the path above.

As for your questions, I'm afraid I don't know any cheats but here is a site that might help you: https://theskyrimblog.com/08/house-flipper-cheats-2022-latest-update/ I never tried it myself, so I don't know if they really work or maybe cause any damage to your game.

The only Save folder I know of is the one in the House Flipper-Game folder in the Empyrean folder from the path above. It's the one that you use if you follow my explanation from my guide. I just found a guide from someone else. It's the same folder in case there is also the backup folder inside = https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2697291971 . He or she explains it more precisely than I, so maybe this can help you. That described way to the final folder is more complicated, so just follow mine and then continue with step 8 from this other guide.

Let me know if you maybe found a backup folder somewhere after all. I hope you will so that you get back your lost progress in the end. :-)

I checked both folders. Unfortunately I didn't find any backup folder, just the folder called profile, that is my current save. Also i found some cheats but it disable the steam achivments for that save. So i decided to wait for the next game to come out, or just take a break for a while.

You're welcome. But still it's a pity that you obviously don't have a backup folder. So then just remember to always save your game separately after playing to avoid to lose progress another time.

This person of this other guide mentions this:
8. Inside here the two imporent folders are "Profiles" and "Profiles.backup"
Profiles Folder contains the profiles for your current savegames.
Profiles.backup Folder contains for the Profiles backup of your savegames.

You said that you have the folder called Profile, so maybe you overlooked the folder Profiles.backup he or she is mentioning ?? Just wondering. If it's not in your Profile folder, then it's really bad and I'm sorry about that.

If you re-install windows and not made a manual backup of your savegames before and if they are not on cloud then there's no way to recover your progress and you need to start over again .
