Ceiling Help Please

I have seen some folks build a second floor. I am attempting to do that but cannot figure out how/what to put up for ceiling. The 2nd floor walls are a mod from the workshop and are FW white pillars/beams. Suggestions?

There's an item in the workshop called "ceiling builder" made by relysa. Maybe that' what you are looking for.

By Vanilla standards, you cannot add/remove different levels. You can only use buildings that actually have additional floors installed.

This intrigued me so I wanted to see if I could build 2 stories. I can do the floors & walls but couldn't figure out the ceiling for that upper floor. I hope icke's idea works

I'm curious about that, too. I've heard it was possible to place doors outside a while ago but that this "bug" has been deleted by the devs in one of the countless patches/updates. The video is of April 2021.

I've been playing with it, and my conclusion is that you need doors and windows from the workshop. I've successfully used those, but have been unable to get the vanilla doors and windows to work.

Be careful. I just found a door in the workshop that can't be moved or sold or anything once placed. Hopefully unsubbing from the mod will get rid of it.

There should be a spot where you can sell it. How ever, it might be in "weird" place.
I remember having something very large (like, 8x3 "wall piece" size large) and almost floor to ceiling height, But to sell/move it, it was like couple pixels in the bottom corner of said item.

Alrighty then...I tested all the pavers & sports surfaces and several doors. They do not open. In fact I couldn't even place them. So, the devs must have nixed this ability. I am going to go get the build help next and give it a spin.
